(14) YOHMY Charity Futsal Cup

Salam and Hello!

Yeah let's kick some balls!

So the idea to do this has been longing since we started Youth Of Hope Malaysia, and it has increased tremendously after our Charity Sale last October. The passion and determine to make it an official event embark on after we had few discussions on how, why, what and who questions.

Rafiq, the so-called Executive Director ( ;p) are the one who triggered this idea to gather orphanages for a Futsal Competition
(As you all know, he is a passionate Futsal player for Bobai, a great player I must say)
Of course, the first question came across was how can we do this? Yes, in terms of food & beverages, prize gifts, funds for operations eg: printing, transportation, rental cost, souvenirs, volunteers tags/tshirts and so many other stuff we need to think about..
Its been a dream for us to gather different orphanages/shelters for an event where the children would definitely love and be excited about. Of course, FOOTBALL!! Or FUTSAL!!
During our trips to orphanages, we asked few questions such as what they love to do during free time.. The conversations went ;
Me: Adik suka main permainan apa masa lapang?
Adik: Kitaorang suka main bola!!
Me: Oh suka tak kalau main pertandingan bola dengan team lain?
Adik: Eh nak kak!! Buatlah, nanti kitaorang practice banyak-banyak. Lagipun kitaorang terer kot! Selalu main kat sekolah, kat rumah (referring to the orphanage).. *sambil tarik tangan kakak ni..
Me: Okay-okay, tunggu kay, nanti kakak buat satu pertandingan bola lepas tu korang kena lawan dengan rumah lain
Adik: Tak ada hal lah!!
Me: *Smile.. :)

So, its easy. Plan with your peers and find the alternatives to get it done. Booked the court month before, get the houses which are available on the date, reach to the vital resources etc...

And here we are... All set and done. Allah SWT has helped us in every way possible. Don't be blind on the success but to learn and adapt more on changes. Its the life process where you learn every new things along the journey with Allah by your side. Now, let's support the boys competing in Futsal Cup 1st December 2012 from 9am to 1pm.

:(

Time ni betul-betul takde semangat nak jual baju and talk to people because hungry and disappointed with the turned out. Makan je yang boleh fikirkan.. Lagipun memang lapar tak makan.. (I can't fast today)

Was really frustrated with myself (place where I should never be) but I just need my other backbones of YOHMY... Hope tomorrow will be much better, Amin. I can never work without my long lasting batteries I shall say..

I am sorry for not putting extra effort on this..

(13) Help Them As Much As We Can..

Salam,

Youth of Hope Malaysia will be organizing a mini charity garage sale at TTDI this weekends. Please come and support as we will be providing Gaza fund as well and send to Islamic Relief or VPM (Viva Palestina Malaysia) directly to Azra Banu. We would like to help as little as we could and not just sitting on the chair clicking, sharing, retweeting, commenting, instagramming, facebooking, sharing ugly videos of Israel act on Gaza, giving hateful responds without even bothering to put it into an ACTION.

Please guys, lets do something about this rather than being online 24 hours without any action been put. We have all the time in the world to help and  find any alternatives to donate. Lets WALK THE TALK.

Most importantly, insert them in our Dua's... :'(

Assalamualaikum,
Please unite as Islam and help...

(12) The Reason Why..

Salam,

'The reason why I choose to cover up and wearing tudung'

A sudden urge and feel to share my story on blog.

Last year, near to end of 2011, a good friend of mine had a major breakdown.. Relationship matters. When I say major, it was MAJOR (to the point we all cried with her, everyday mesti kena jumpa kasi semangat untuk kembali ke realiti dll) which we all enjoyed every minute of it.. Because it made us realized how important we are to each other..

Girls, we're fragile man, you got to take time to understand our words and actions..

I am considered very lucky to have found them whom we call as 'best friends'.. In my own personal experience or any relative matter, friends are the most important asset to build a strong, true friendship bond.. Its like a house.. When you want to build a good solid structure house, you'll find the most reliable, hard-rock construction company to complete the process.. Same goes to your selection of friends.. Its all in our hands, darling. So, thank you guys for being there for me nevertheless in any situation.. Thank you very much.. I might have lost my way to Allah if it wasn't of their extra support and words..

During that period of time, we decided to pray at the mosque (we were ignorant towards the value of praying in the mosque) and how important for us to fall in love with Allah than any other else.. We seek for answers, ways to endure the pain we experienced.. Dua and plead to him to ease and help us along the way.. As days went by, it became a conversation in bbm group where it went 'Guys, malam ni jom sembahyang kat masjid?' and continuously as a thing to do before lepak and pekena teh tarik.. I like that so much.. Hati kita semua tenang je...

New years eve, we celebrated at Nana's place, BBQ dinner, fireworks, sprays and had a small gathering with different conversations passed the night of 2011..  2012!!!! Fitri, the genius in taking photographs/videos captured our beautiful moments and he called all of us to make a short video of ourselves.. Where we went about on what's our new year resolution so on and so forth..

Rasa teruja gila masa Fi panggil to do a video on all of us.. Sure gempak.. So I went and stand in front of him macam kena interview.. Emmmmmm nak cakap apa eh?? :/

I remember bits of it..
'Alhamdullilah, reached 2012 and thank you Allah for giving this opportunity to live on this world.. My new year resolution, in shaa Allah I would like to be near to Him and seek Him.. Will try to improve and strive for the better...'
In my heart I wished to fall in love with Allah and help me find the right way..

I did the best I could, read Al-Quran daily, pray in the mosque most of the time, listen more to parents (don't be too rebellious), dengar ceramah Sheikh all over the world, and read on Prophet RA stories... and more in order to be closer to our creator.. Truthfully, it was an amazing journey throughout the months.. There's ups and downs where I felt like giving up, malas, benci, semua lah... Tapi when I started to involve myself with volunteering work with Mercy Mission, it was the starting point.. Alhamdullilah for the awesomest people in there, surroundings! Cool, content, happening, noisy tapi have this goal in life to strive, improve and become better person for a place in Jannah in shaa Allah.. macam rasa not outdated or neglected instead I never felt so determined and pumped out!  Great, amazing people masya Allah..  and not to forget, Young Muslim Project (YMP) where gradually they teach on what Islam knowledge are all about and exposing us youngsters to more better quality perspectives and so many more.. Just like their facebook page for more info. http://www.facebook.com/youngmuslimsproject?fref=ts

On Salah ;
(HR. Muslim)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Realized where I started to feel the need to cover up.. I will never wear if it was a force by parents, for fashion trend (which is a very sad case nowadays, by looking at it) , relatives duk sibuk cakap pasal kita, or even for fun.. I will wear when I'm ready and decided to change my lifestyle.. From zero to a life perspectives towards Jannah... I heard it is a place where all of us definitely will love.. :)) So, let's all be together in this and work through it in shaa Allah..

Days before.. Try la juga amik gambar sendiri pakai tudung putih.. emmmm.. Dalam hati cakap 'kan elok ni watif...' aik.... tak pakai lagi... saja cuba je... Next day, pergi Curve, ada weekend bazaar.. Tengok kedai tudung.. Cantiknya color-color tudung ni.. Ada jugak yang pelik... :/ Apa punya style pun tak tau lah..

Work, work and work for it.. I want it.. I tried to reach for it and dua for Allah to give it to me.. Because deep down, I need that to realize life isn't that wonderful if you lost touch with Him..

Alhamdulillah, the day I woke up for a new life. Really amazing when you knew He helped you and want you to love Him and learn more about our religion.. That feeling was tremendously incredible.. As for now, I need to get up back again..

Got up and got involve with so many new activities by Mercy Mission, Al-Khadeem, various Islamic talks etc.. Find more peers who can help us through this journey.. And Alhamdulillah  ( segala puji hanya untuk Allah)..

The Meaning of Others;
http://lautan-biru.blogspot.com/2011/09/maksud-subhanallah-alhamdulillah.html

At the current moment, I need to bounce back and be pro-active.. Learn wisely, greet always, read Al-Quran daily and pray shall not be missed...

I would like to share my story on why covering up is not just covering up but doing more good deeds and pray more to Him for a place in Jannah.. and I will pray to go Hajj one day..

Don't wear for fashion or trend.. We've got to fill in our hearts slowly, and gradually in shaa Allah we can.. We sure can.. I am in need of help, so please help each other every time we fall.. Because Islam is easy.. We made it harder..

Wonderful journey towards Islam..

Thank you for not judging.. Assalamualaikum.

(11) Apo Kono Eh Jang

Salam,

Saja je buat title camtu.. tarik perhatian ke dok?

Anyway, Alhamdullilah Sheikh Zahir Mahmood talk at ISTAC, Jalan Duta earlier was motivational even some are barely understandable because Sheikh speaks too good which I can't keep up with..

But I tried, tried and wrote down some yang boleh difahami..
The way Sheikh Zahir Mahmood delivers his speech is undeniably strong and enthusiastic which I look forward to.. But truth to be told, not all would fancy the way Sheikh speaks.. But its the content that's important.. What he delivers are the essential point of attending to a talk..What do you get from going to all this motivational talks? How do you see yourself gaining from this? Are we implying it to daily lives? So many questions circling..

What I have learned from this talk (according to my understanding..)

1) The relationship between wealthy and non-wealthy individuals which as we may relate to, the non-wealthy are the 'chosen position' by Allah SWT who are given challenges and tests to see whether they will always remember Him regardless of their position.. The wealthy individuals should never look down to those people as what they have (Luxury cars, mansions, materials etc..) are just borrowed and it is one of His challenge as well.. See if Allah are wished 'Alhamdullilah' and apply a good Muslim daily routine for what His given you..

2) People will not remember you by your clothes, materials, status, cars or whatever assets you've gained but the remembrance of what you have done to the society, your contributions which helps the Muslim to reach their maximum strength and your role as a good Muslim..

3) You got to have inspirations.. From our Prophet r.a, our parents, friends and could be anyone who has done such work to be called as our role model.. Inspirations to wake up early for Fajr, inspirations to come early for class, inspirations to stay healthy, inspirations to be a Good Muslim..
(Make a list for your own self)

                                         'Inspirations which touches people'

4) Put some actions to our life! Lets say a small contribution for helping the needy-s, lend a help to feed the homeless, spend our weekends with teaching, volunteering, building homes for Orang Asli  and certainly we can do so much more..

5) Make a change (small or big) in your life as that change, could be the steps for bigger meaning in life, InsyaALLAH.. 'A little change leads to bigger dreams, bigger inspirations'

Allahuakhbar..
'Allah The Greatest'

Well, what do you think? Great talk wasn't it? I guess I've slipped over few things but I've certainly learned something from this.. insyaALLAH.. Hmmmmm inspirations to wake up for Fajr..... Let's do this!

Thank you, Assamualaikum,
Love learning new things..

(10) Good Morning

Salam,

Oh my  guess I've found my new love...

Andy William was one of the greatest singer during my dad's golden age..

You can read his bio here ; http://www.biography.com/people/andy-williams-162966
Rest In Peace..

I came about Andy William just early this morning, when I've got to send my big brother to Bangsar. I was about to insert my CD when it can't go in as another CD is inside.. I took it out and read 'Greatest Hits of Andy Williams'.. I look at it and thought hmmm why not listen to something different this morning and put it back on..

Played his first song. Not quite sure what's the title.. But it was soothing and gives my morning a little bit tips of colors.. and goes on to his complete playlist.. Which makes me danced to 'Can't take my eyes off you'.. Still and will always be the 'it' song ya..  ;)

I stated my morning (which every morning need to be chill and calm, ya know what I'm saying)

I love you baby... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxahtnSAzgU

Good Morning and Selamat Pagi! :D

Terima Kasih,

(9) Love To Put A Smile On Your Face

Salam,

Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim/Miskin Taman Baiduri

Terutamanya orang muda seperti kami... Jadi lets not waste our time shall we?

'I was thinking how much she have done when she's only 7 years old??'  I give my highest respect to her, Wan Yasmin Khallilah.. What a wonderful little girl, Allah bless you my dear..
